On May 18th, my doctor sent all new scripts to Express Scripts as I was moving and the nearest pharmacy was 12 miles away, Also because I was moving, my Ucare Ins needed to be changed as the plan I had was not available in my new area. I ensured they had the correct address and billing and waited...and waited...On May 28th I called customer service to find out when they would arrive, only to find out that they would not fill the scripts until June 1, when my new plan was in effect.

I informed them that I was almost out of needed meds and that I had valid coverage. Customer service refused to take the old plan information and told me they would fill them June 1, and expedite. On June 1st, I received a call from the pharmacist saying that she needed my permission to fill the scripts since these were new scripts. Again, she assured me they would be mailed that day and expedited.

FYI, they arrived 6/9 and 6/13. I had to get an emergency supply from the almost local pharmacy and pay full price as insurance would not cover as already filled for the same period.

Not that it will do Not that it will do any good. I did everything possible to ensure I had the medications I needed.

I Had to pay for these medications myself, full price for an emergency 30-day supply. I m tired of arguing with insurance companies, pharmacies, and stupid people. Since these are continuing medications, what difference should it make it I get 120 days supply, 90 from ExpressScripts, and 30 from Walmart. UCare will not pay for a refill until the 90 are up, and I certainly am not going to double up on the medications, so will not refill for 120 days.

So it seems like the only person hurt here is me. Financially, and emotionally. I am recovering from some very serious infections and 45 days in the hospital or extended care.

All that’s bad about insurance

Worst company we've ever dealt with for meds. Deny and delay are clearly the policies that some number cruncher or AI calculated would save them money. Ask for the same prior authorization each time for the same med and falsely claim about attempting to contact the dr. Then find a completely new reason the deny and round we go again. I am not for big government but this is one of those companies that requires legislation to do the right thing because obviously they choose not to on their own.

Can't get my app to work

Since I was moving to a small worn with no local pharmacy, I decided to use Express Scripts to get my daily medications, On 5/18/2023, my PCP sent 6 prescriptions to Express Scripts to fill. I expected them to be sent and received by the end of May.

On May 28th, I contacted Express SWcripts since I had not heard anything from them, and I found out that they were holding the scripts until June 1st when my new insurance coverage took effect. So I had to do a lot of calling to get a temporary script for HBP meds that would be gone by May 30th. On June first, I called Rxpress to ensure my scripts were being processed. And was assured that they were being expedited and I would receive them by June 6th.

However, expedited means very little when they don't deliver the package to DHL until 6/3. The expected delivery is now between June 9th and June 13th.

I have transferred all prescriptions to Walmart, involving a 20-mile trip to get these prescriptions. But I know they will be there when I need them.

So how are you planning on getting me the medications that I needed yesterday? My name is Lois Templin.

date of birth 04/27/1952. Member id 171999****97. My meds were ordered on 5/18/2023 by Dr. Aquah.

I expected that they would be delivered by the end of May. so imagine my surprise when I called on May 28th since I has not heard from you and found out that you were filling these under my new coverage. Your CSR refused to accept my old, and in-force insurance to fill these scripts. I had to scramble to get the HBP meds I needed until yours arrived.

On 6/1/2023 I was told not to worry, that they were in the process and they would be expedited. Guess what. DHL says the expected delivery for one pkg is 6/9/2023, and the second package by 6/13/2023.

I needed the metoprolol yesterday. So thank you very much for your lies and unexceptional service.

Incorrect billing

This company doesn't deserve any star rating. They are abusive have no channels to address issues of their customers and refuse to work with you when the issue arises.

They leave you on hold for extended periods time. They take your money however when they are wrong they refuse to correct it telling you it is because of another person or business out of their control. When yoy want to update or change information they refuse to accept it. This company is so big having Medicare and Medicare and other company's services it appears they are not accountable to the people who must pay for the service.

This company is the worse I believe Medicare could do better then have Express Scripts administer the prescription coverage that is funded in part by Medicare. If you are new to Medicare I urge you to look at other prescription plans pharmacy plans before you commit to this one

Customer service phone numbers not working

I have tried 3 different customer service phone numbers and none of them are working. I cannot access my account.

I have tried to reset my password and am not receiving the emails to verify my account!

This is terrible customer service. This needs to be addressed and fixed quickly.

Poor service and accountability

Issue with cutoff of prescription renewal due to needing doctor authorization. My issue is that they do this at the time a renewal is due rather at the time of the prior refill, thus leaving me without my medication while my doctor fills out the appropriate paperwork.

Such as ass-backward policy that in no way benefits the patient when their medication is suspended while waiting! How on earth can this be in the best interest of the patient???

The problem is two-fold and the issue lies with the doctor and the patient. Firstly, your doctor should ensure you have enough refills to carry you to your next appointment.

Secondly, if you are getting 90 day mail order delivered say on June 1, that’s enough pills till August 31. You should be reading your bottles.

If your appointment isn’t until December, you can call and ask for refills yourself. At some point personal responsibility has to kick in.
