Express Scripts - Prescription Refill Review

2.0
Details
Out of all my years using pharmacies, this is the worst! So mad that I'm forced to deal with this company. I can identify with all the negative reviews. My prescription won't make it here until next week, even though I've been trying to order it for over a month. This meand that I will be missing some days of my meds. The reps seem clueless and every other one gives a different answer. Tell me why it took me 5+ phone calls, and 3 messages through their website to get one number? Not only that, but their website has serious maintenence issues. I was even told that I couldn't order my meds a week before because they only allow it if it's time for a refill. So that means that I will be without my my meds because they have the slowest shipping speed.

Lying Bastards | Express Scripts review

I've had Express Scripts since my stroke in '08. Sometime after that Obama Care took over giving Express Scripts the green light to increase my premium by 2000% (yes - I really did say TWO THOUSAND PERCENT). On top of that I now pay 100% of my drug costs and Express Scripts now pays out absolutely $0 (plainly stated in their monthly breakdown sent in the mail. The 'Plan Pays' column (that's what Express Scripts pays out) is always $0, and the 'You Pay' column (that's the 'suckers' column or the consumer column) is always 100% of the cost. After complaining about it I got my next bill saying I had somehow paid too much so my bill for that month was less. I paid the amended amount but could not figure out how I 'overpaid' them - because my checks to them were always the same amount. Then I got a letter saying I owed them $$ (the very same amount they had reduced the previous bill by) and was threatened with being dropped from the plan unless I pay up. After many calls and using up all my minutes on my cell phone some *** there said all was now OK and I didn't owe them anything. Then I get a letter demanding to know where I lived (which was ironic since all their bills, letters and notices had no trouble making their way into my mailbox.) I fired off their form with my address on it and complained of their ineptitude. Today got a letter saying I lived outside of their plan area and they dropped me. What is interesting about THIS Express Scripts lie is the fact I still live in the same town I was in when I had my stroke and was first enrolled in their plan. This is like being forced to have car insurance and pay the endless premiums, but when you have a accident they don't pay anything to fix your car. So what's the point of this useless insurance other than to make some of Barack Hussein Obama's friends wealthier than they already were? In case you aren't aware EXPRESS SCRIPTS IS A FORTUNE 100 COMPANY WORTH OVER 104.6 BILLION DOLLARS (yes - that's million WITH A 'B') FYI:before Obama Care was bashed down our throats they DID actually pay something, not much but it was something. After Obama Care went into full force they now pay nothing. George Paz - the CEO of Express Scripts who lives in St Louis. MO - should be imprisoned for his blatant, in-your-face-what-cha-gonna-do-about-it robbery of the American Public. Oh yeah, I'm a Vietnam Vet. Thanks America.

Express Scripts is THE WORST ORGANIZATION I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! They're business processes are substandard to say the least, the "supervisors" blatantly provide inaccurate instruction just to get you off the phone, and at the end of the day you literally have no wins because Express Scripts is not your choice, it's your healthcare providers decision.

They run a dictator type organization in which they do what they want and expect you to follow their rules. How is this company still in business?

Lied to | Express Scripts review from Atlanta, Georgia

My dr. sent in their new fax form. She didn't realize she needed to sign on a separate dispense as written line. She had never used the form before. They switched out the medication. I noticed before the order shipped and I asked what I should do. I asked for it to be cancelled. The customer service representative told me to have the dr. send in a new prescription with dispense as written on it. Did that. Then they voided the new prescription without letting me know and refuse to fill it. They shipped the order I asked to be cancelled. Called them back and they said she could send in a new prescription to a retail store for a 30 day supply and I could get that. LIED again. They are now refusing to pay for the retail store. They have had me running in circles doing all they tell me to do for nothing! WASTE of time dealing with their customer service! They just lie to you!

Reliability of Will Shiip Dates | Express Scripts review from Renton, Washington

Attempted to obtain a specific will ship date for a product. I spent 30 minutes on the phone-going through the initial contact, then the supervisor and finally the Sr. Mgr. Not one could give me anything other than an estimated will ship date within a range of days. The Sr. Mgr. was defensive and argumentative, claiming that providing a specific will ship date would increase costs. I worked in aerospace purchasing for 40 years. Can you imagine an airplane being built with estimated dates? He also claimed Amazon gave only estimated dates-totally untrue-their dates are provided based upon the kind of shipping the customer opts for. Absolutely non-robust and unreliable process at Medco.

Dropped my meds from formulary without warning. Never sent me the formulary. First rep told me it was all my fault. I should stay on top of things. So, how, if they don't give you any information! Talked to many reps all of whom had a different story about what to do. Absolute gross incompetence! Finally asked my dr. to appeal. He did so. They called me to tell me he had called them to cancel the exception to the formulary they had already granted. LIES! He never did get an exception. He called them back and all they would do is repeat their formulary. Wouldn't budge. They seem to operate on lies and conflation. Care nothing about the needs of patients. Often respond in rude fashion. If only they weren't part of a larger health package my retirement plan has I would get out of there faster then a speeding bullet.

Express Scripts/Accredo drugs does these automated phone calls, of which I have been a frequent recipient. I have children that are still under our policy, but are technically "adults". Today when express scripts/Accredo called, they were calling for medications that were available for my son. My son is 20 and in college. When I could not tell them the name of the medication, they refused to give me any information. Then when I tried to give them my sons phone number, they refused to take it down. At first they refused to take any new information on him for contacting him. I had to go up the ladder and complain a lot in order to get them to write down my sons phone number for future contacts. We are the one that pays for his medications, but yet we will not have access to them, for some reason. Logan has signed a release of information in the past, and he even stated to me on the phone today that he didn't understand why they could not still honor that release of information. And if it needs to be done again, why were we not made aware? And why is my son not given an easy way to do this? He has a chronic disease, cystic fibrosis, and needs many medications and he certainly does not need to run out of any. Express Scripts/Accredo representatives were very rude and made me repeat myself many times and there was no evidence of wanting to put the patient first. It was almost like a delay tactic. Maybe that saves the money…? Marsia him and Sandy were the two black females that handled my call today. Horrible service. No evidence of compassion or care.

The company has it's good points. The problem starts when negative response of this company is more. One major problem they have is their philosophy is "They are always right" instead of "The customer is always right." They made me feel so ***! Tell me if I am the one ***. I made them aware that I had a new physician. A prescription is suppose to be filled. Except they send it to my other dr who retired in Dec. I called to find out if they sent the script. What did they do? They sent it to my retired doctor. What a joke! They say we have tried to fax him and have heard nothing. Of course not! He is retired! They still made me feel ***! I know most of the big companies use Express Scripts because are less expensive. Good for them, ZIP for us! Anyone who can change the way a person acts or feels, that is called Phycological Abuse! It explains why I am feeling good when I call, then after the phone call, I feel drained and upset. Well, they know which buttons to push. LOL!

Express Scripts should be put out of business, they ship without permission, they raise prices for no reason, they provide no reason for price changes, they quote one price then charge a higher amount. If Congress really wanted to do something they would take action on this fraudulent company.

They increased the price of my medicine from $15 to $90 in less than a year and this is with insurance. I can buy it locally with no insurance for $28, which I now do.

So why should I have prescription drug coverage? Just a bunch of ***.
