Last Wednesday I called Express Scripts and requested transfer of heart medication for my husband.

Meds were called into Walgreens by hosp dr These meds were running out when I called Express Scripts to transfer into them on July 20th.

I found out on July 27 that they do not tranfer refills and have to get new perscriptipns. No one told me this when I called to transfer

Called Wednesday, July 27 to see where the meds were. I was told they had faxed the doctor and he hadnโ€™t responded. I asked why they hadnโ€™t called me and they said they did on Monday, July 25. I said no you didnโ€™t, I was home all day, the phone didnโ€™t ring and there were no messages.

The original doctor who ordered the meds is not our doctor, he was the attending Internal medicine person. He had no interest in getting back to them as quick as I could have our primary doctor take care of this.

Called our doctor July 27 and she put the medication through to Express Scripts. I called them again yesterday to verify they had them and I needed them this morning They said they couldnโ€™t do that and they would have to call in an

Override to Walgreens to get them to do a 14 day supply.

After much arguing I finally gave up and called Walgreens. They didnโ€™t see anything on screen about an override. I called Express Scripts again and they said they were taking care of it.

Finally, I called Walgreens again around 7 last night and they still had nothing. I told the pharmacist what was going on. She felt very bad and because she could see the meds we had picked up before, she went ahead and gave us a few days supply. On one of the medications, Walgreens only had enough for two days.

Called Express Scripts again this morning and was told they would call me tomorrow with a disposition I called back this afternoon and was told they were due to go out by August 2.

I no longer want to deal with these incompetent people. I have spent 7 hours yesterday and three hours today trying to resolve this issue. to handle like his doctor appointment, test appointments, etc.

Reason of review: poor service and order issue.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Preferred solution: find a company that knows how to process orders or call the customer and let them know. Once issue gets resolved, get the meds to them in a timely fashion..

Express Scripts Cons: Unethical, Does not perform services in a timely fashion, Does call to let customer know of problems, Having to take 9 hours of my life to resolve issuies.
