Similiar experience!! Express Scripts failure to refill a common prescription for 6 weeks does give the one an alternative to suicide. You can simply die do to lack of medical treatment and God cannot codem you. It would be "lack of medication assisted" suicide. I have had repeated incidents in the last two years that several doctors offices have sent faxes to Express Scripts and those faxes have been ignored. By count this has happened eight times. I have never had success requesting Express Scripts sending a request to any doctor. Well, as you can see this is my second post. I posted "Unconscionable", got a quick response from "Adam" and "Stephanie" at ExpressScripts the same day, Adam spoke with my Dr's office and they faxed (for the 6th time) my blood tests and diagnosis to them as I keep getting denied an RX for "Lack of Information", even though I myself stood next to the office staff as they faxed this information twice to ExpressScripts. My wife ordered a refill of her statin. Nothing transpired until we requested information. Told that Dr had to do a review. His office responded to their requests. No drugs sent. Spent 4 1/2 hrs on 4 phone calls to representatives, supervisor and supervisor of the supervisor. No action and clarity as to what the Dr was to provide that had not been provided. I had waited over a 90 days to TRY to get a prior authorization approved for insomnia for a full 30 days, going back and forth from the doctors office and express scripts with multiple phone calls between the two. Suggestive selling is what it's called. Under the guise of a friendly phone call from an Express scripts diabetes "specialist", he is touting drugs that he claims I should be using. As has been said before to their team of "specialists" I prefer to take advice only from my doctor. Am usually hung up on quickly without comment. My Anthem-Blue Cross PPO uses Express Scripts to manage prescriptions. Through multiple blood tests, my DR diagnosed a problem which I needed an expensive topical drug. Pre-authorization was needed. They constantly lie and constantly mess up prescriptions. They never call to confirm or even let you know you need a prescription refill. One of my prescriptions I must've added 3x to be automatically refilled because the first two times the representatives I spoke to never added them.
