I called accredo with express scripts yesterday afternoon and I was told that my harvoni was denied. I was told that my paperwork stated that I do not have hep c and that I did not have a liver biopsy., crazy! I called my doctor's office and they were aware that it was denied. They told me they are going to appeal it. They said they would work on it Monday. I was told it could take up to 14 days... Read more

So 3 times in the past year I have had issues with express Scripts getting my insulin to me on time. And each time they blame my doctor, or myself for the problem. I set up a re-occurring charge with my account here at express scripts. I noticed that I was not being sent one of my medications so when I called and sorted out the problem, they proceeded to send me (in addition to the medication i asked for) a prescription I did not ask for, which happened to cost $647! This company, and subsidiary Accredo is absolutely incompetent. It is a part time job getting these people to take down the correct information and getting the meds to my daughter. I have to call them no less than 6 times; often times to repeat the same information that I had previously provided. I have been using this company for many years, as it it no choice of mine. This is the insurance coverage for work. However, over the last year things with them are getting progressively worse and I would almost rather go to my local pharmacy and pay FULL price to avoid the headache. They have lost my prescription refills, had my doctor send them the same prior authorization multiple times... Read more

I have never dealt with a customer service (not really a good description), so incompetent. Nothing gets resolved by calling, the only thing they ever say is "company policy" and everyone says exactly the same thing...reading off a pre-written response card. Add comment

I was told if I joined Express Scripts Part D they had my medication, but it needed a prior authorization. But, if I was denied the medication, they would give me a transitional amount of medication to last 30 days till I see my Doctor to discuss other options. Prior to Express Scripts my company's Pharmacy Provider was Medco. In the 5 years that I used Medco they were always pleasant, I got refills very quickly and actually had no reason to contact them. I haven't used Express Scripts for years and my new insurance uses them. I didn't know I didn't HAVE to use them, like in the old days when my insurance said I had to order my asthma meds from them. Anyway - my doctor wrote the prescription so that I could get a 30-day supply at a time, instead of a 90-day supply, because $120 for a 90-day supply is hard for me to come up with. The worst place to deal with. Customer service is rude and not helpful. Be aware the the $20 overnight shipping is 10 days. So you really need not bother giving them the extra money. Just continue to say sorry there's nothing I can do. Really? Terrible! I'd rather pay the same price for monthly medication than to go through this aggravation. Add comment
